belonging
Unique backgrounds bring bigger ideas.
The Day One DEIB Council Each year we ask for volunteers from across the company, representing different functions, levels, and backgrounds, to help set priorities for Day One’s DEIB work in the coming year. The DEIB council builds on and champions key initiatives to reinforce an environment where every individual feels valued and empowered to contribute their best in our workplace and the communities we serve.
“Inclusion is a core part of Day One’s mission, so it is naturally engrained in the culture here. Our People Team does a great job of honoring heritage months by providing educational content, recognizing relevant organizations, and highlighting local events that employees can attend.”
Sr. Manager, Clinical Sciences
“At Day One, I feel a sense of belonging when my ideas are taken seriously, feedback is constructive, and there’s trust in my ability to grow into the role. It also means having managers and teammates who recognize that diverse backgrounds strengthen our work, and who create space for different ways of thinking and problem-solving. I feel empowered to contribute fully, ask for help when needed, and continue developing without feeling like I have to ‘prove’ that I deserve to be here.”
Director, Supply Chain
